NaomiDate is a large dating community where hundreds of thousands of men are looking for love in Asia. Still, the number of members isn’t always an indicator of high quality. I decided to test the service myself, and now, around a month after registration, I guess I’m ready to draw conclusions.

On NaomiDate, you can’t just buy a premium plan. You choose and use particular features. Some of them are free, some are paid. If you want to use a premium feature, you should be ready to spend some credits, and the prices are as follows:

Note that you don’t have to buy and spend credits right after you set up an account to have a conversation with someone. All new members get 20 free credits for registration and 10 more credits for confirming an email address. Basically, that’s the free credit package—an alternative to a free trial on mainstream dating sites.
Free and paid services on NaomiDate
There are certain features you can use without credits, namely:
- Customize your profile. You can change anything at any time and add photos without paying.
- View member profiles. The same goes for viewing user profiles. There’s no information hidden from Standard members, and you’ll be able to see all the photos without spending credits on unlocking them.
- Like & favorite others. If you just want to let someone know you like their profile or contact someone attractive later, you’ll be able to add a profile to favorites or just send a like.
- Use the Say Hello feature. That’s the most useful feature of all free features. On the NaomiDate website, you can choose one of the standard first messages and send it to someone you like to see whether this member is interested in further conversation with you without spending any credits.
- Use search. Applying all search filters is free on NaomiDate.
Paid features are mostly communication features, namely:
- Letters & live chat. You can choose one of the features, use both, switch it up now and then, etc. It depends on your preferences.
- Audio & video messaging. For me, these were the best features because texting is never enough to build legitimately deep connections.
- Sharing media. Members also can add stickers, exchange the latest photos that aren’t on the profile page, send emojis, etc.
So, members don’t pay for most actions they can take on NaomiDate.com, but they still pay for conversations with users. The policy is transparent, though. I didn’t notice any hidden costs—you’ll spend the price you see next to the chat or Letter window.

How to use NaomiDate
Each dating site is a complex system with its own unique features. You need to test it to understand how it actually works. I’ve spent enough time on NaomiDate, so now, I’m ready to share some useful insights into all the main processes.

Unlike many other platforms, the NaomiDate dating website doesn’t have that overly complex registration procedure. You don’t have to share your phone number, address, and payment details when signing up, and there are no lengthy personality tests and quizzes either.
Basically, all you need to do is go to the main page, find the registration form (it will be the first thing you see), and fill it in. There are only standard fields like name, email, age, gender, and of course, you’ll also need to agree with the terms and policies.
You have an even better alternative and can create an account with just one click via your Google account if you don’t mind sharing such information with SofiaDate.
➡️ Creating & upgrading a profile
Of course, if you just stop here and don’t improve your personal page, you’ll hardly end up dating someone you met on NaomiDate. The competition on the site is high because the vast majority of members have detailed profiles. If you want to upgrade yours, you can do the following:
- Add photos. There are no restrictions, and you can do it for free. The only things you should keep in mind are that the photos must meet the existing requirements and that the more photos you have, the higher the response rate.
- Add specific details. You can provide more information on yourself and your perfect match, from education and hobbies to age, height, children, and the purpose of using the NaomiDate website.
- Write your stories. On NaomiDate, you can tell others anything about yourself, your life story, preferences, hobbies, interests, relationship experiences—literally anything. But the best thing is that there’s a separate field with the description of your perfect match. Such a division really works and makes it much easier for a profile visitor to get all the necessary information.
If you add all the information, choose good photos, and think carefully about what you want others to know about you and your relationship goals, you’ll end up having a competitive profile. I tried to use the service without adding many details first, and I must admit that more information and better photos improve your chances of meeting someone by 300%.

There are search features for all tastes, all completely free to use. In particular, currently, members can choose between the following options:
- Online Now. If you want to chat with someone right now, just see who’s online. There’s a separate section with top profiles of users who meet your basic search criteria.
- Classic search. In my opinion, that’s the best search feature offered by the company. The principle is simple—you set specific criteria and apply the filters that may help you find the right person. The selection of filters is great. Members can search for the best matches by multiple criteria: age, country, city, height, body type, eye color, hair color, marital status, job, education, children, relationship goals, etc.
- Like feature. There’s also swiping just like on mainstream apps. The principle, however, is slightly different. That’s rather a feature for those who want to see new people, and if you like someone, you won’t have to wait until this person likes your profile back. You can start a conversation with anyone right after you’ve viewed their profile.
Also, you’ll see suggested profiles on all search pages of the NaomiDate site. Sometimes the algorithms work great, and sometimes they don’t, but I could find a few interesting women on the site in this section. All in all, all the features work well enough, and considering the high quality of the profile, finding a perfect match won’t be hard.
➡️ Communication features
There are likes and favorites, but these are not exactly the communication features. Once you meet someone special on the site, you can contact this person in a few ways:
- By saying Hello. That’s a good feature, but not my favorite one. You can just click on Say Hello and choose a wink or one of the standard first messages. Though it may work, the response rate for such messages is lower compared to the response rate for custom messages.
- In the messenger. I liked chatting most. You communicate in real time; the messenger is not buggy at all; and you can send audio and video messages. It’s what I usually expect from a good dating site.
- Via the Letter service. Members can also send longer emails, and again, though it’s not my favorite feature, I understand some people will like it better than texting. The exchange of media files and audio messages is possible, too.
That’s enough to get close to someone attractive before you start planning a date in real life. There’s no video chat, and that’s a drawback, but NaomiDate still has more features than a standard local dating site.

I like that on this site, you have a great tutorial on how to get started. I could understand how NaomiDate works as a free member right after I signed up for it. I also read the FAQ, and it’s detailed enough, too. Unfortunately, there’s no hotline, so if you have questions, you won’t be able to contact support immediately, but I could submit a request (you’ll see the link in the FAQ section), and I received the response from the team the same day.

Our opinion about safety on NaomiDate
Is NaomiDate a safe site? Yes, it is. Its security system is not perfect (for example, I’d prefer seeing verification videos from every member), but it definitely has its advantages. For example, I noticed that moderators work well enough, and low-effort pages are suspended pretty quickly.
There’s no need to share your personal information when signing up, and the data you share (from your name to passwords and payment details) are well-protected and, of course, encrypted. Non-registered users can’t access the site. Simply put, that’s a good classic system that makes a site a safe place to find love.
