How to use Golden Bride
Now that you know Golden Bride rates, let’s see if it’s worth the money. I’ll share what I learned throughout my trial run over the course of a few weeks.

I immediately liked Golden Bride for offering Google or Facebook sign-in options, even though I chose to go the standard signup route. Luckily, it didn’t take long at all. The dating platform only requested my name, email, and password.
Once I confirmed my email, I could log in and start shaping my future dating profile. Overall, the process took no more than a couple of minutes, and it could be even faster if you choose to connect your Google or Facebook account.

To impress potential future partners, you need a strong dating site presence, starting with an attractive profile. You can create it by pressing the “Edit profile” button in the upper right corner of the account page. From there, you’ll access the three building blocks of your profile:
- Account. This block includes 16 standard fields, like your first and last name, height and weight, eye and hair color, as well as your marital status, number of children, religion, and more. As I filled out my profile, I noticed some of the standard options looked a bit weird. For example, drinking habits include “socially” and “occasionally,” which seem the same to me. And the list of religions starts with Buddhism and Paganism, for some reason. But once you get over the initial surprise, this block takes about five minutes to fill in.
- More about you. There are four fields in this category: Character, Hobbies and Interests, Looking for a type, and Desired lady’s age. The last two describe your ideal partner, while the first two focus on your personality. So, I suggest you take a few minutes to come up with a funny and creative way to highlight your strengths.
- Photos. I discovered that Golden Bride accepts up to 15 photos (10,000 KB each), but I suggest focusing on the main profile picture and a handful of others. You may add extra photos once you get the ladies’ attention.
Once you’re done, remember to click the “Save changes” button at the bottom of the page and enjoy the benefits of an attention-grabbing profile.

When it comes to searching for matches, the Golden Bride dating site is quite impressive. Here are a few of my favorite search features:
- There are 13 basic search filters, ranging from age and height to smoking and drinking habits. You can even pick out girls with a specific zodiac sign. English speaking skills filter was the most helpful for me, as I abhor using online translators, and the dating site matched me with ladies with fluent and conversational levels of English.
- Advanced options include six checkboxes or varying usefulness. I couldn’t think of a good reason to only look for girls whose birthdays were coming up, but I often searched for ladies with videos and who had their cameras on.
- There’s a Lady ID search bar, which can be helpful if you lose track of a specific woman you like but save or remember her ID. I wish it would work with names too, but for now, only IDs are accepted.
I played around with the other three tabs (Top 1000, Top online ladies, and New profiles), but I didn’t see the appeal beyond filtering those girls who were online, which I could just as easily achieve through search filters.
The Sweet or hot swiping feature was a nice bonus, letting me skip, like, or add ladies to my favorites. Although some suggestions were pretty random, they helped me quickly generate a list of my favorite members to contact later.

As I’ve already mentioned, there are several means of communication available on Golden Bride:

While I didn’t get a chance to test the call service (I didn’t chat with any of the ladies long enough to qualify), live chat and mail were surprisingly good. For one, if you’re worried about GoldenBride scam allegations, you can opt for ladies with cameras on, so you can see them as you chat and know for sure they are real. While it doubles the cost of live chat, it’s a worthy investment if you’re a visual person.
Moreover, unlike some dating sites, GoldenBride lets you enjoy the first letter and attached photos for free. Even if most of the messages I received were pretty generic and clearly designed to appeal to the largest number of men, they helped me narrow down the search.

I was hoping for live customer support, but the Golden Bride support team mostly communicates through email. You can contact them by choosing the “Customer Support” tab in the “My Profile” menu.
You’ll see your “Mail from administration” list and a button reading “Create” in the upper right corner. The button opens a pop-up window where you can type the subject and text of the message and attach media files, if necessary. You can expect to receive a response within 24 hours.
There’s also the FAQ page with answers to common questions and a few basic recommendations for avoiding scammers.

I didn’t find verified profiles on Golden Bride because the website outsources the verification process to its partners. According to the FAQ page, local agencies verify every lady’s name, age, and marital status before accepting their applications. Video verification is also a requirement for ladies, and I noticed the most prolific members posting dozens of photos and videos.
Regardless of the safety procedures in place, if anyone makes you suspicious or uncomfortable, you can add them to the blacklist and report them to the dating site administration.
